ONDREJ UND MARTIN MÜLLER
Dr. Ondrej E. Cibulka and PhD student Martin Müller from the Department of Thin Films and Nanostructures, Institute Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences from Prague (Cz) have been guests of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Jan Benedikt since Feb. 29 within the DAAD exchange program. Dr. Cibulka will stay until 11.3., Martin Müller until 19.3. Their joint project is called "Atmospheric plasma-based generation of silicon nanocrystals for future energy":
The main goal of this project is to explore and demonstrate the potentials of non-equilibrium atmospheric plasmas for the generation of good quality silicon nanocrystals (Si-NCs, silicon quantum dots) and to investigate plasma-based options for passivation/modification of the Si-NCs surface.
On Thursday, March 10, 2016, Martin Müller will give a talk on "Growth of silicon nanowires in PECVD and their application in solar cells" at 4:15 pm (NB5 / seminar room). Interested guests are welcome to attend.
